In support of ongoing relief efforts following Typhoon Halong, Alaska Commercial Company partnered with BRP to provide free jackets to families in the Bethel community who were impacted by the recent storms.
A total of 250 jackets were made available through this partnership to help residents stay warm as the community continued to recover. The jackets were distributed in person at AC Bethel Motorsports to help ensure they reached community members who needed them most.
Families affected by the storms were encouraged to stop by the store to receive a jacket while supplies lasted. AC appreciated the partnership with BRP on this initiative and the opportunity to support families in the Bethel community.

The jacket distribution built on earlier relief efforts Alaska Commercial Company launched following the storms and evacuations caused by Typhoon Halong.
In October, AC worked with vendor and air cargo partners to donate 40 pallets of bottled water to rural Alaska communities and to Alaskans displaced in Anchorage. When Bethel Search and Rescue reached out requesting air mattress donations for elder evacuees at congregate shelters, AC purchased the mattresses locally and delivered them to donation centers.
AC also hosted a register round up campaign across all store locations, allowing customers to round up their purchases at the register to support the Western Alaska Disaster Relief Fund. Together, with the help of our communities, AC raised nearly $20,000 to support relief efforts. One hundred percent of donations went directly toward helping communities recover from the storms.
Alaska Commercial Company remains committed to supporting the communities we serve, especially during times of need.
