Alaska Commercial Company (better known as AC) donated $500 to Toksook Bay Head Start in conjunction with the opening of our new AC Toksook Bay Store. This donation will help purchase books and supplies for children to use as they embark on their first formal education programs.
Toksook Bay Head Start is a preschool and learning program that specialize in early childhood education.
“AC’s giving priorities focus on elders and youth because they are the foundation and the future of Alaskan communities,” said AC President Kyle Hill. “AC is committed to giving back to the communities that we serve,” added Hill, “and we are proud to make this donation to the Toksook Bay Head Start program.”
