Alaska Commercial Company (ACC) is excited to open AC Fairway Market in Skagway on Aug. 3, 2021. Acquired from the Fairbanks family in July of 2021, AC Fairway Market will have an expanded selection of fresh foods and best local market prices.
Alaska Commercial Company has announced that the AC Fairway Market manager is Lee McKinney and he has relocated from Sand Point, AK to Skagway. McKinney brings decades of experience in the retail grocery business to AC Fairway Market and he most recently managed AC’s Sand Point Store for four years.
“We are excited that Lee will be managing our new store in Skagway,” said Walt Pickett, vice president and general manager of Alaska Commercial Company. “Lee will work hard to earn our customers’ trust every day by providing a great selection of food and general merchandise, friendly customer service and the best local prices,” Pickett added. “He did an outstanding job as our store manager in Sand Point and we have no doubt that he will be successful in Skagway, as well.”
