About
Originally from Wyoming, Rocky began work for AC in 2001. His first position with AC was Assistant Grocery Manager at AC’s Bethel store. Rocky has held many positions with AC in the past 20 years including Grocery Manager at AC’s Bethel and Dutch Harbor stores and Store Manager at AC’s Bethel, Aniak, Mountain Village and Emmonak stores. Currently, he is the Director of Operations for the Village Stores in Anchorage. According to Rocky, “This is the most family-oriented company I have ever worked for. No matter what, family comes first. Everyone within the company is on a first name basis.” He lives in Palmer and says, “I like living in Alaska because there are a lot less people than the lower 48 and a lot better views.”
