After the recent storms and mass evacuations caused by Typhoon Halong, Alaska Commercial Company acted quickly to support communities across the region. With the help of our vendor and air cargo partners, AC donated 40 pallets of bottled water to rural Alaska and to Alaskans displaced in Anchorage over the past week.
Bethel Search and Rescue also reached out this week to request air mattress donations for elder evacuees who found it difficult to sleep on cots at congregate shelters. AC purchased the mattresses, and our teams worked together to provide the necessary supplies as quickly as possible.

Your contributions and assistance ensured that relief supplies reached those who needed them most.
Alaska Commercial Company remains committed to helping Alaskans in times of need. All AC stores are currently hosting a register round-up campaign through November 2. When you shop at your local AC store, you can “Round Up” your purchase at the register, and 100 percent of donations will go directly to the Western Alaska Disaster Relief Fund to support those impacted by the storms.
