Alaska Commercial Company is a rapidly growing company and our goal is to serve as many communities in remote Alaska as we can. There are many considerations that factor into where we will open a new AC store and we work closely with native corporations in making these decisions. If you would like to have an AC store in your village or community, we suggest that you discuss this with your native corporation.

Yes, we do. We have meat packs and other bulk packaged foods that are sold in each of our stores.
We do sell custom designed cakes in some of our AC stores that have a bakery/deli section. However, if your local AC store doesn’t have a bakery/deli, you can order custom cakes from one of our larger stores and we will ship them directly to you.
We do sell general merchandise in our stores including toys, baby products, household goods, hardware and many other items. However, some of our smaller stores have a limited selection because of reduced space available. Plus, every store does not have ATVs, furniture, appliances, and other large items for sale. If you are looking to buy a motorized vehicle, please call the store and speak to the manager to see if it can be ordered for you.
Alaska Commercial Company strives to be a good neighbor in the communities we serve. We donate food to local organizations through each of our stores and we make financial contributions to causes that meet our giving priorities. We are especially committed to giving to causes that support Elders and children and that focus on education. AC believes in being a good corporate citizen. We support the Muscular Dystrophy Association through our annual Kings for Kids campaign and we sponsor Alaska School Activities Association (ASAA) events each year. We work with native corporations to distribute food boxes to families in the regions they serve.
AC makes local donations through each of our stores, in addition to corporate donations and sponsorships. Please stop by the store in your community and talk to the store manager. Or, you can click on the DONATIONS button on our home page and select: STORE DONATION to apply online. You can also apply for a corporate contribution or sponsorship online by clicking on the CORPORATE DONATION button and completing the online request form. We will review your request and respond as quickly as we can. We can’t fulfill every request for donations, but we strive to support as many organizations as we can that meet our giving priorities.
